Angola, discovered in 1482 before many of the Bantu tribes descended from the North, was built over 500 years ago by the Portuguese, cities founded as early as the 16th century, with hundreds of cathedrals, schools and infrastructure projects like railways, harbors, buildings, roads, dams, and in the 20th century, offshore oil platforms and many airports. It was handed over in one day.
